Covid-19 Update

Level 3 lockdown

As announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday, 24 May 2020, Level 3 Lockdown commenced on Monday, 01 June 2020, with more sectors and businesses allowed to trade again.

As we welcome more of you back to our shopping centre, we wish to remind you that our stringent safety and hygiene measures remain in place to ensure the health and safety of all who visit us. Throughout the mall/centre, we have positioned sanitising stations, signage to ensure adherence of physical distancing is maintained and the wearing of face mask at all times by all those who are in the shopping centre. We appreciate your cooperation and support of these measures during this time.


CENTRE TRADING HOURS

Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday & Public Holidays: 9am – 6pm

*Some tenants may trade outside of the stipulated hours. Please contact them directly for more information.


STORES TRADING

Most of your favourite brands are trading again at Sandton City with strict health protocols in place. Certain high-risk economic activities, however, remain prohibited, including personal care services such as hairdressing and beauty services, cinemas and theatres. Restaurants and bars, except for the delivery or collection of food, remain closed. The sale of tobacco products is prohibited.

Parking info

Sandton City parking will be free with immediate effect until further notice, upon arrival the boom will automatically open and no ticket will be dispensed. When exiting the centre, proceed straight to the booms.


Precautionary Measures

At Sandton City, your well-being remains our top priority. During these extraordinary times, as we unite in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19), these are the precautionary measure we have implemented to ensure the overall safety of customers, tenants and staff:

  • Close and transparent communication with all tenants and staff.
  • Increased cleaning protocol, with additional focus on handrails, lift buttons, parking machines, and all other commonly used equipment.
  • Ongoing deep-cleaning of the mall, known as fogging, to ensure all common areas are thoroughly sanitised.
  • Increased refilling of soap dispensers in all bathroom facilities.
  • Provided on-site staff with hand sanitisers.
  • We assure our valued customers, tenants and staff that we are committed to their wellbeing and are monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak very carefully. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates.
